Day Four

July 16^th, 2009 Day Four

0900 Headed to folk’s house to say so long for now. Tough to think I may never say another word face to face with dad. He said he had a pleasant night (meds are good). Dad held the puppy. Held and kissed Elizabeth and posed for this awesome picture.

0945 Had to leave. Told dad I had his camera for now but would not use it til I was sure he was finished with it. Last spoken words face to face: “Hang in there pops, I love you buddy.”

1745 Called dad and said we were home. He had a busy day with nurses and equipment and social worker and chaplain. He said he was tired but doing OK.

Note to self and everyone else: Make sure you ask God to reveal any undone’s that may be in your life. Regrets are spirit-killers if we aren’t careful. I don’t have any at this time, praise God.
