Day one

July 13^th, 2009

0845: Received call from dad Monday morning. Began making plans to head home for a couple of days. 1800: Josh, Kasey, Elizabeth, Amanda and Bella the puppy headed out I the HHR and Myself, Teresa, Jeff and Christen were in the Explorer.

2315: Finally made it to the hospital. The entire entourage made it past security and found dad and mom chatting in his room. Bella the puppy was smuggled in inside Christen’s purse. (Still haven’t heard if she left any surprises). Dad was pleased though.

I stayed to chat for a while as everyone else went home. Talked about how mom would be taken care of, what to do with some of his stuff, making sure he was spiritually ready. Kinda funny, he said, “If I haven’t got it figured out by now I’m not going to”. Dad told me I can have his camera, Sharon could have his lappy, and then he started worrying about mom again.

0100: Prayed with pops and went to get some sleep.
